Maps for Yellow Dawn

I used the crib sheet for "Map of the Land" and spent most of Saturday rolling up some New Wilderness maps.  Strangely fun to do.  Not sure if that highlights some underlying character trait (flaw).  Anyway, take a look and feel free to use as you wish.

You know, with the icons, its looks great.

Some seem to make a strange kind of sense too...

Call me non-techie if you like, but I like maps drawn up to look like maps and abstract diagrams don't really connect for me. Surely there must be a way of doing both - like using the map creation system/diagrams for the initial generation and then draw these out in an illustration/map-building programme.

That's NOT to promote the idea of having tree symbols with spider webs and gothic text with 'Here Be Zombies' etc, but something more visual in a uniquely YD way might be an idea :-)

I dunno Kevin, I think you may be onto something with the "Here be Zombies". I quite like it ;-)

I do know what you mean though, just not sure how easy it would be...
