With a possible cure for the Infected in the balance, can the heroes track a single zombie in a city full of thousands?

[Players Introduction]
In the years after Yellow Dawn, the world had a good deal of hard work to do. Daily survival took precedence over scientific research, and it's only now that resources are being spared for archeological efforts. In a recently recovered pre-YD server farm, a dataminer has uncovered research notes from a famously reclusive micro-biologist, detailing his studies of an emergent virus that bears a disturbing resemblance to the Zombie infection. The scientist hints that he knows a simple but effective way to "unravel" the virus at a molecular level, something that he claims no-one else could have figured out. The email says that the data is stored on his personal server, something that was recovered during a Dead City Run several years before.

The problem is that the scientist was notoriously paranoid about data security, having previously had work stolen in an industrial espionage incident. The data is locked in an encrypted file using an algorithm based on his biometric information. Worse, the scientist was known to have succumbed to the Zombie infection during Yellow Dawn.

All seems lost, until a transmission from a besieged group of scavengers in a Dead City reveals a familiar face among the undead hordes. Now the corporation that owns the scientist's server want the heroes to find him, capture him and bring him back alive (or as close to alive as Zombies get), so that they can crack his files and see what he's got.

One specific zombie among thousands. Can it be done?

[GM Notes]
Does anyone else know about the scientist?
The area he was seen in is notorious for swallowing up scavengers. Someone is using the zombie swarms as a security system for a covert installation, and they really dislike intruders...
Did the scientist really have a way of killing the zombie virus, and if so, what effect will this have on the zombies themselves? Will it kill them, cure them, or turn them into something worse?

Hehe, I like this.

Its just prompted me to dig out the half written scenarios (well, little more than filled out ideas) that I started writing a little while back but then dropped.
