“Shadows of the Quantinex” is a major campaign set within the world of Yellow Dawn.

The action begins when the characters are approached by Jean-Luc Korda through an independent fixer; Korda is the Chief of Security for a major corporate family - the Carthews – and has a job for the characters. The job is described in brush-strokes as: counter-extortion, involving physical intimidation and possibly some research, and takes place in New Tokyo. This job leads to a dead body in a hotel room and an orgy of evidence.

It appears that Dalton H Carthew could have survived Yellow Dawn after all. The reason Dalton H Carthew being alive is such a risk is his sister, Xici Carthew, a much more capable businesswoman, is now head of the Carthew Trust; if Dalton was discovered to be alive, it would seriously damage Carthew Trust stock (Dalton’s disastrous handling of the Carthew Trust before his disappearance has not been forgotten by investors or business partners) and potentially lead to complex legal issues.

Korda asks the characters to find out the truth: is Dalton H Carthew really alive? In addition, the characters are told to find out what Dalton and his girlfriend were up to over a decade ago, specifically regarding Quantox, a genetic-engineering company once owned by the Carthew Trust. Korda is looking for PR damage control.

What the characters discover is the monstrous truth behind what actually caused Yellow Dawn, and a trail of events and clues that leads them across the globe, and beyond, to ultimately stop events that threaten to shake humankind into dust and out of existence.

“Shadows of the Quantinex” will soon be available as a Beta, although I’m confident in the integrity of the work I think it probably needs a few more brains going through it, so I’m putting it on the market on the assumption errors will be fed back to me to include in a final release. The final release will retail at £15.99, the Beta version will be £10.99

I’ve scanned through my proof copy and I can’t see any major errors, so I’m happy to make it available as a beta. This is on the proviso people accept there may be typos, misspelled words, and potential plot issues, all of which I would be grateful to be told about. Hence the cheaper-than-normal price.

You can buy Shadows of the Quantinex here.

Feel free to use this thread to post feedback, point out errors and discuss plot tweaks and improvements.

Best wishes
