Strap line -

Announcing the official resumption of gambling on the Mississippi! Join the crew of the recently restored steamboat "Biloxi" on her maiden trip up the Father of Rivers to the fortified town of Grafton, Illinois.

To celebrate, we'll be hosting the first major five-card draw poker tournament seen in North America in 10 years!

Whether joining in the poker, or merely soaking up the atmosphere of the new wilderness and Old Man River, we guarantee you'll have an amazing time.

Players introduction -

  • Players can join the Biloxi on her journey up river for any number of reasons. Maybe they're there for the gambling. It is the first major tournament (officially) in North America since YD.
  • Maybe they have wealthy friends (or they themselves may be part of the new post YD upper class) and wish to enjoy a journey thats sure to be part of everyone whos anyones social calendar.
  • Alternatively, theres always a need for security on journeys in the new wilderness.

GMs introduction -

  • For a mythos flavour, theres always something or someone on the Biloxi whos interested in another "Father of Waters"
  • For a bit of fun, it could just be a chance to gamble, meet people and generally have a good time. Of course, bandits, river pirates and general criminal types will know all about the Biloxi and her cargo. Will her security precautions be enough?
  • The journeys at least 200 miles, so can take several days of leisurely steaming to get up river. What happens when someone starts murdering the guests, so far from any semblance of Law. This is the new wilderness after all, and a great place for a plain old murder mystery.
