Strap line -

Just days before the "Yellow Dawn" and the deaths of two thirds of mankind, a gang of criminals pulled off the worlds greatest ever heist. Unfortunately for them, they never got to spend their ill gotten gains before succumbing to the plague.

With the world spiralling out of control, and more pressing matters (like day to day survival) taking precedence, the retrieval of the items (yet to be defined) rapidly became unimportant, and the survivors soon forgot.

Since then, it has turned into a myth and the legend has grown (Everything from the Crown Jewels or England to the Roswell UFO are reported to have been amongst the items stolen - basically insert your Macguffin here - ooerr! ;-) )

10 years later, the trail heats up, as someone uncovers some interesting information and clues stored on an old pre YD server brought back by a CDC party from a dead city run (area to be decided)

Now its a race to solve the clues and reach the cache of stolen pre YD goods and get your ticket to the big time before other rival groups get there first.

Players introduction -

  • Players are part of the CDC team that recovers the clues, and another part of their group (NPC or even their superiors) want to get there first. Along the way, other groups hear about it and a race ensues.
  • Alternatively, for a more espionage orientated game, the cache is information that, if revealed, would have serious implications (to be decided) for several surviving corporations and a lot of people will stop at nothing to get their hands on it.
  • If its Occult based, the item(s) taken were of great value to collectors, a cult or the government/UTOC (think of the warehouse storing artefacts at the end of Raiders of the Lost Ark). The PC's are employed to find the artefacts before they fall into the wrong (or right) hands.

GMs introduction -

  • Mostly covered above. To be fleshed out somewhat

More to come...

Hi Tony

I deleted your reply to my original post, and moved it here...

...best to keep each project seperate and under its own unique heading.

Great idea by the way.

Really simple but has huge potential for fun, danger and glory.
