This is an email I had from a guy I’ve known for about 14 years. He’s much older than me and has spent much of the past decade looking into various theories of the nature of Time. His latest communication struck me as something right out of a Cthulhu Mythos story… I’ll be expecting to get an invitation to see his machine next!

David, hi!
Have you seen last weeks edition of New Scientist. I read the article on time and scratched out a few notes as I was sitting in Woodes' cafe. See the attached. Immanual Kant was right and I'm a step nearer to figuring it out, just a small step.
